Rules & Code of Conduct

  • No discriminatory conduct (racism, sexism, or other "isms")

  • AI is allowed, but documentation must explain how it was used

  • Git repository must be created after the official start time,no pre-built projects

AI Usage Policy
  • AI use is allowed, leaning toward permissive with defined scope in the rules

  • Documentation must reflect how AI was used to develop the project

  • TBD: Enforcement approach undecided, honor system vs. enforced guardrail

  • TBD: Idea floated: middleware routing all AI queries, providing hints rather than answers, logging token count/cost


Eligibility
  • Post Secondary students and recent alumni (within 5 years) residing in Edmonton, aged 18+
  • You do not need to be a NAIT student to take part
  • We are hard capped at 100 participants total, because of this we will be creating a pre-registration into the discord
